I started my journey into designing from the university, where I studied statistics and I was every good at it, even graduated with a second-class upper but as much as I love how numbers work, I have also been passionate about the psychology of humans and how things affect us. It was at this point that I fell in love with designing, not just designing but brand design.
Understanding the concepts of brand and market strategy and how this influence buying ability of humans was really satisfying. Years later, I found out about UX design, which allows me to be able to blend my old love for analytics and newly found love for designing for a purpose, together.
This passion led me to Youtube and any free online course that I could find, after working for awhile, I decided to enrol at the Birmingham City University to study User Experience Design at Masters level, and now, with over 6 years experience of designing and crafting digital products, I am more than equipped with all the tools to create amazing digital products for the next generation.
I am passionate about art, music and fashion. I am lucky enough to have a clothing brand that turns my art into collection designs.I love building communities. I don’t like academic papers but I love writing articles and stories from my point of view (it is quite relatable).
I believe that great design is where user needs and business goals meet. I seek to understand both to design user-centred, inclusive and accessible products and services, mostly in Customer UX and Enterprise UX.
I also write articles on my Linkedin, teach design and speak at conferences & workshops events all around the world. And I recently published an article about how to better the navigation on one of the most used wayfinding app in the UK.
I spent the last six years helping clients in different industries (banking, financial, educational, healthcare, AR, VR, travel, etc.) delivering successful projects to their users, all the way from strategy to the final products and services. I specialise in:
I have a user-research led approach to design and problem solving. I start with user research to understand users needs and pain-points. Then I prototype a solution and test, iterate until it's the perfect solution for them.
I design user friendly, inclusive and accessible products. I also work directly with development teams to deliver useful design specifications: user flows, mockups, design systems, interaction guidelines, etc.

At the core of everything that I do is accessible and assistive design.
I have designed this portfolio to provide a sort of DIY learning resource for aspiring UX Designers that want to learn the in and out of designing or creating a digital product. My goal is to demystify UX Design and expose all the details that are difficult to learn in school, or on the job without mentorship.
